Rehabilitation of an abandoned quarry near the bedouin village Bir Hadaj and Kibbutz Revivim. Our landscape design dealt with ecological questions concerning the rehabilitation of a quarry and of a 4 k"m long section of Revivim Stream, as well as questions of planning in a considerate manner that would be sensitive to the local bedouin community. The informal daily life of the unrecognised village has, to a certain extent, drawn the lines of parts of our plan, in the absence of official statutory guiding lines, and as a substitute to formal and customary planning.
